न मे विदुः सुरगणाः प्रभवं न महर्षयः ।
अहमादिर्हि देवानां महर्षीणां च सर्वशः ॥

Transliteration

na me viduḥ sura-gaṇāḥ prabhavaṃ na maharṣayaḥ |
aham-ādir-hi devānāṃ maharṣīṇāṃ ca sarvaśaḥ || 2 ||

Translation

Neither the hosts of devas(deities) nor the great seers know My splendour since I am, the sole source of the gods and of the great seers.

Purport

In this Shloka, Bhagvan Shri Krishna, disclosing the secret of His supreme splendor. Shri Krishna says nobody knows him completely, not even deities and great seers. Deities or seers know only a certain splendor or form of Shri Krishna which they are able to see or experience depending upon their personal devotion to Bhagvan Krishna.

Further interfering from this Shloka, one can conclude, why different yogis, seer or knowledgeable people write or explain differently about God(Shri Krishna). Bhagvan Shri Krishna appears to the devotee in the same form as been desired by the devotee. This fact has been explained in a different manner in different Sanatan Scriptures. "Shri Ram Charitmanas" says

"Jaki rahi bhavana jaisi, hari murat dekhi tin taisi"
Shri Hari appears to a form as wished by a human.
