Devotion or Bhakti Yoga is indeed the best path among all, but achieving devotion itself is not easy. The human mind and senses brings human back to the physical experience which erases the subtle notion of devotion. For this reason, achieving devotion for God in itself is a challenge.

One way to achieve unshakable state to devotion is to learn, study and know the splendor and glory of Bhagvan Shri Krishna. Reading, hearing or chanting the glorious auspicious and divine attributes of Bhagvan Shri Krishna creates a magnetic effect and brings back devotion. This Shloka describes the same. Bhagvan Shri Krishna explains those devotees who engage himself into knowing the glory and splendor Shri Krishan develop unshakable devotion. All the attributes of Shri Krishna are auspicious and divine and thus devotee too acquires auspicious nature and gets united with Bhagvan Shri Krishna.

The summary is that more we engage yourself with the attributes of God more we acquire those divine attributes. Different kinds of worship processes, bhajans, kirtan, speeches about the glory of Shri Ram, Krishna, Shri Shiv, etc are different ways of engaging yourself with the divine attribute of God.
Most of our Sanatan Scriptures give a strong emphasis on these methods.
