Transliteration
ahaṃ sarvasya prabhavo mattaḥ sarvaṃ pravartate |
iti matvā-bhajante māṃ budhā bhāva-samanvitāḥ || 8 ||
Translation
I am the Origin of all, from Me all these emanate. Thus being aware, the wise ones endowed with full conviction worship Me.
Purport
In last Shloka Bhagvan Shri Krishna explained reading, discussing or chanting the glory of Bhagvan Shri Krishna helps devotee develop strong devotion.
In this Shloka Bhagvan Shri Krishna explains another method to strengthen the devotion. And that is the path of knowledge. Everything moving or static in this universe is emanated from Shri Krishna and this realization helps devotee develop strong devotion. However this fact is hard to realize for many in normal mental states, yet one should have such intention (bhava) . Such an internal sense of realization that Bhagvan Shri Krishna is the creator of all gives an assurance. And that conviction creates strong devotion.
