O Vishnu! Devouring all the worlds on every side with your flaming mouths, You lick them up. Your brilliant rays scorch the whole universe, filling it with their radiance.

Purport

Arjuna describes further as witnesses this terrible scene of destruction. In his universal form, thousands of mouths blazing with radiance fires consume the whole world from all directions and then lick them up like tigers eat and lick its prey. The radiance emerges from the blazing fires of thousands of mouths scorching the whole universe.

It's a terrible terrible scene of process destruction as Arjuna watches with fear.

This is to be noted that the word Vishnu is used for Shri Krishna. That signifies Bhagwan Shri Krishna is the incarnation of Bhagwan Vishnu and not any separate entity.
