तस्मात्त्वमुक्तिष्ठ यशो लभस्व जित्वा शत्रून्भुङ्क्ष्व राज्यं समृद्धम् ।
मयैवैते निहताः पूर्वमेव निमित्तमात्रं भव सव्यसाचिन् ॥
द्रोणं च भीष्मं च जयद्रथं च कर्णं तथान्यानपि योधवीरान् ।
मया हतांस्त्वं जहि मा व्यथिष्ठायुध्यस्व जेतासि रणे सपत्नान् ॥
Transliteration
tasmāt tvam uttiṣṭha yaśo labhasva jitvā śatrūn bhuṅkṣva rājyaṃ samṛddham |
mayaivaite nihatāḥ pūrvam eva nimitta-pātraṃ bhava savyasācin || 33 ||
droṇaṃ ca bhīṣmaṃ ca jayadrathaṃ ca karṇaṃ tathā’nyānapi yodhavīrān |
mayā hatāṃs-tvaṃ jahi mā vyathiṣṭhā yudhyasva jetāsi raṇe sapatnān || 34 ||
Translation
Therefore, you arise and gain glory; conquering the enemies, enjoy the prosperous empire. By Me alone are all these slain already. You become merely the instrument, O Arjuna. Drona, Bhishma, Jayadratha, Karna and other warriors are already slain. Do not be distressed. Fight and you shall conquer the enemies in battle.
Purport
Continuing from last Shloka where Shri Krishna declared the fate of the war at Kurukshetra is not going to change whether Arjuna fights or not. Cause everybody assembled on the war field of Kurukshetra as per his own Karma and Prarabdh and everybody meets its fate which is hence controlled by his Prarabdh. Bhagwan Shri Krishna rather announced the events of future to Arjuna that the time for Bhisma, Drona, Karna, and many other warriors is already up and they will be meet their end for sure.
Shri Krishna then suggests Arjuna that the result of the war is going to be the same whether he fights or not therefore he should not hesitate. Shri Krishna said Arjuja to become just an instrument to already assured fate and enjoy the glory.
