सखेति मत्वा प्रसभं यदुक्तं हे कृष्ण हे यादव हे सखेति।
अजानता महिमानं तवेदंमया प्रमादात्प्रणयेन वापि ॥
यच्चावहासार्थमसत्कृतोऽसि विहारशय्यासनभोजनेषु ।
एकोऽथवाप्यच्युत तत्समक्षंतत्क्षामये त्वामहमप्रमेयम् ॥
Transliteration
sakheti matvā prasabhaṃ yaduktaṃ he kṛṣṇa he yādava he sakheti |
ajānatā mahimānaṃ tavedaṃ mayā pramādāt praṇayena vāpi || 41 ||
yaccāvahāsārtham asatkṛto ‘si vihāra śayyāsana bhojaneṣu |
eko’thavāpy acyuta tat-samakṣaṃ tat kṣāmaye tvām aham aprameyam || 42 ||
Translation
Unaware of Your majesty, and either from negligence or affection, considering You to be a friend, whatever I have presumptuously said, addressing You as; O Krishna, O Yādava, O friend,
and for whatever disrespect I have shown to You in jest, while playing, resting while sitting or eating together, while alone or in the presence of others, O Achyuta— I implore Your forgiveness, for You are incomprehensible.

Now Arjuna knows that Shri Krishna is the almighty God himself and full of devotions falls to Shri Krishna feel and offers obeisance again and again. But before today Arjuna considered Shri Krishna as a normal human, one from the Yadav family from Gokula and his best friend. Under that ignorant understanding, he said all such words which a friend tells to other friends, making jokes and even some fun things while playing, sitting and resting together.
Now when he knows Shri Krishna is not the one he used to think but God himself, He asks for forgiveness.
This is to remind Arjuna used the word “disrespect” does not mean he disrespected Shri Krishna ever. Arjuna and all Pandav brothers always respected Shri Krishna. They gave the highest seat to Shri Krishna. When Yudhishitra organized Ashvamegha Yajna, it was Shri Krishna who was made the chief guest ahead of elders like Bhisma, Drona and kripacharya. When Arjuna went to Dvaraka to ask for help in the war, and Arjuna got to choose between Shri Krishna and his Army, Arjuna chose Shri Krishna knowing well that Shri Krishna is not going to fight in war but maximum take a role of chariot driver.
But whatever respect Arjuna given to Shri Krishna earlier was not considering Shri Krishna as God. Arjuna Shri Krishna may a time like one treats other human friends. Arjuna feels bad that he did not know Shri Krishna is God and could not give as much respect as was he could have given if he knew Shri Krishna is God.
