Chapter 11 : Universal Form of Shri Krishna

Ch 11 : Sh 51

अर्जुन उवाच
दृष्ट्वेदं मानुषं रूपं तव सौम्यं जनार्दन।
इदानीमस्मि संवृत्तः सचेताः प्रकृतिं गतः॥

Transliteration

arjuna uvāca
dṛṣṭvedaṃ mānuṣaṃ rūpaṃ tava saumyaṃ janārdana |
idānīm asmi saṃvṛttaḥ sa cetāḥ prakṛtiṃ gataḥ || 51 ||

Translation

Arjuna said:
Having beheld the human and benign form of Yours, O Krishna, I have now become composed in mind and I am restored to my normal state.

Purport

Arjuna who was perplexed, bewildered and afraid seeing the vast, infinite universal form of Shri Krishna, now returns back to his composure after seeing Shri Krishna back again as a human.
