Translation

For, those who dedicate all their actions to Me, holding Me as their supreme goal, intent on Me and who worship Me, meditate on Me with exclusive devotion and whose minds are thus focused on Me, O Partha, I soon become their savior from the fatal ocean of death and rebirth.

Purport

In earlier Shlokas, Bhagvan Shri Krishna made it clear that worshipping a personal manifest God(God as a physical being) is easier and better than worshipping an invisible God. This is because it is extremely difficult to comprehend and invisible and un-manifest God even harder to worship him. Human is a physical being and everything it understands and activities involve physical methods and objects. Understanding absolute attributes that can never be mapped to any physical object or which cannot be achieved through physical methods is very difficult.

In this Shloka Bhagvan Shri Krishna simplifies it and guides it to a fixed and definite path where the devotion is guaranteed. He assures those who leave all the confusion about God, worship methods and submits to Shri Krishna he achieves the goal of devotion with most certainty. Bhagvan Shri Krishna has made a similar statement at many places in Shrimad Bhagvad Gita and most clearly in Ch18.66

Abandon all other ideologies (or religion) and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not grieve.

-Shrimad Bhagvad Gita 18.66

To be noted, Bhagvan Shri in earlier Shlokas already declared it's not about right or wrong but it's about what is more affordable and easier to achieve. Worshipping unseen, invisible God is not wrong as per the method or approach or in concept, but it is difficult to practice and to achieve success. That is because comprehending an invisible and absolute God is extremely difficult and worshipping such God is even more difficult. One can’t worship and the entity he can’t comprehend. A human is an embodied being, all methods used in worship by a human can be physical only except a few like meditation. Therefore achieving success in the worship of an invisible God is extremely difficult.

Here Bhagvan Shri Krishna further narrows down the options and asks devotees to worship him and Bhagvan Shri Krishna will deliver him the liberation. At another place, Bhagvan Shri Krishna has assured the success is guaranteed, as the devotee of Shri Krishna never fall,
“My devotees are never destroyed”
--Shrimad Bhagvad Gita 9.31
