नैनं छिन्दन्ति शस्त्राणि नैनं दहति पावकः । न चैनं क्लेदयन्त्यापो न शोषयति मारुतः ॥
Transliteration
nainam chindanti sastrani nainam dahati pavakah na cainam kledayanty apo na sosayati marutah
Translation
Weapons do not cut it(the soul), fire does not burn it, waters do not wet it, and the wind does not dry it.
Purport
Shri Krishna, explained that, soul cannot be harmed by any physical mean. No weapon can ever harm it. Water, fire or air can have no effect on soul. Soul is eternal and stable as sky. It never goes through any physical change and remains as it is forever. It can move to any place and is universal and primeval.
