देही नित्यमवध्योऽयं देहे सर्वस्य भारत । तस्मात्सर्वाणि भूतानि न त्वं शोचितुमर्हसि ॥
Transliteration
dehi nityam avadhyo 'yam dehe sarvasya bharata tasmat sarvani bhutani na tvam socitum arhasi
Translation
O descendant of Bharata(Arjuna)! This sould which dwells in the body of living beings is eternal and can never be slain. Therefore you need not grieve for any creature.
Purport
After explaining the secrets of soul and life, Bhagvan Shri Krishna reminded Arjuna of his natural duty. He is a kshatriyas and to fight to protect dharm, humanity and justice is his natural duty. It is a great honour for any Kshatriya to get such chance. Therefore he should not hesitate to perform his natural duty.
