Translation

The devotees of the Lord are released from all kinds of sins because they eat food which is offered first for sacrifice. Others, who prepare food for personal sense enjoyment, verily eat only sin.

Purport

In earlier Shlokas Bhagvan Shri Krishna explained, the physical resources provided to humans must be shared honestly among people other living beings. In this Shloka Bhagvan Shri Krishna explains the sharing of food. Such food which is first offered to Bhagvan Vishnu(Shri Krishna) in Yajna and later distributed among people and then consumed is free of all sins. As we all know such food is termed as Prasadam in Santan Dharma.
