श्री भगवानुवाच
इमं विवस्वते योगं प्रोक्तवानहमव्ययम् ।
विवस्वान्मनवे प्राह मनुरिक्ष्वाकवेऽब्रवीत् ॥
एवं परम्पराप्राप्तमिमं राजर्षयो विदुः ।
स कालेनेह महता योगो नष्टः परन्तप ॥
śrī-bhagavān uvāca
imaṃ vivasvate yogaṃ proktavān aham avyayam |
vivasvān manave prāha manur-ikṣvākave’bravīt || 1 ||
evaṃ paramparā prāptam imaṃ rāja-rṣayo viduḥ |
sa kāleneha mahatā yogo naṣṭaḥ paraṅtapa || 2 ||
These two Shloka Bhagvan Shri Krishna declares the origin of Yoga. Bhagvan Said, that he revealed this divine knowledge of Yoga to the ancient deity. Vivasana(The sun deity), Vivasana revealed the same to his son, Manu, Manu, in turn, taught this Yoga to his son, Kind Ishwaku. The Yoga was then been transferred from one generation to others by pious sages.
This is to inform you that the Ishwaku dynasty is the same dynasty in which Bhagvan Ram incarnated.
