कामक्रोधवियुक्तानां यतीनां यतचेतसाम्‌ ।
अभितो ब्रह्मनिर्वाणं वर्तते विदितात्मनाम्‌ ॥

Transliteration

kāma krodha viyuktānāṃ yatīnāṃ yata-cetasām |
abhito brahma-nirvāṇaṃ vartate viditātmanām || 26 ||

Translation

Those who are free from lust and anger, who aspire [for realization], whose minds are controlled, and who have attained self-mastery — are assured of liberation in the Supreme in the very near future.

Purport

In earlier two shlokas Bhagwan Shri Krishna explained the ways of knowledge and pure action to achieve liberation. In this Shloka Bhagvan explains yet another way to reach the ultimate goal of liberation and that is that the self-control and purity of mind. Bhagwan specifically mentions what steps to be taken. Controlling lust, anger, and mind is the key to self-control. To achieve the state of self-realization one should have eagerness into the devotion towards Bhagawan Shri Krishna. One who is able to achieve above and works with dedication achieves the supreme state of Bramham and liberated.
