Purport
In earlier Shlokas, Bhagvan Shri Krishna explained the method to practice Dhyana Yoga. In this Shloka giving reference to the process, Shri Krishna says one who practices Yoga using the prescribed methods, hence achieves perfection. He achieves ultimate peace in the present life and attains ‘Me’(Shri Krishna the God) after cessation of this body. It has to be noted in this Shloka and also in earlier, Bhagvan Shri Krishna giving reference to himself using the words "mat-saṃsthām adhigacchati" which means comes to me. Bhagvan Shri Krishna hence is the ultimate goal of every living being.
