Purport

Earlier Shlokas define the rules and methods of practicing Dhyan yoga(Raj Yoga). In this Shloka Bhagvan Shri Krishna explains what the destination of the practicing Dhyana Yoga is and when one knows that the perfect state of Yoga achieved.
When a yogi keeps practicing Dhyana Yoga as per the prescribed rules in earlier Shlokas and following the discipline, he achieves a state where he no longer craves for physical desires. .He attains a state where he feels satisfied with himself. As also described in later Shlokas, in such state yogi attains the peace the same as a static flame in a windless place.
