Translation

The Blessed Lord said: Neither here [in this world] nor there [in the next], O Arjuna, is there destruction for him. For verily, no one who does good, my son, ever falls.

Purport

Hearing the honest doubts of Arjuna, Merciful Lord filled with compassion the same way a mother has compassion towards her son. Lord Shri Krishna dispelled the doubts of Arjuna calling him a son. Bhagvan Shri Krishna said O my son(Ajuna), an honest and true human who put his path in the devotion of Parmeswar and tries even little on yoga never falls even though he fails on the path of Yoga.

Even a little devotion towards Bhagvan Shri Krishna is one of the most pious acts of the living soul and anybody doing any good is never going to fall to destruction.

Bhagvan Shri Krishna gives very clear assurance that a true devotee if he fails in achieving the perfection in Yoga, never falls.
In coming Shlokas, it is described how such failed yogi gets everything in the next life that he misses in this life. He then further ascends towards the enlightenment. But it is assured that once a Human comes to the path of pure devotion never falls to destruction.

Next 7 Shlokas represent one of the most profound secrets to be known particularly for common people.
