Purport

Starting from this Shloka till Shloka#17 the method to practice meditation has been explained. In this Shloka Bhagvan Shri Krishna explains the requirement to achieve perfection in Meditation.

One who wants to achieve perfection in Yoga should select a quiet place where he can sit without been disturbed for a longer time. Any impurity violates the rule of a quiet place this is implied that the place should be clean and with pure air. He should leave all worries, his physical obligations, possessions, and desires. He should concentrate his mind on his inner self with a strong faith in the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Bhagvan Shri Krishna and practice it constantly.
