Transliteration
mām-upetya punar-janma duḥkh-ālayam aśāśvatam |
nāpnuvanti mahātmanaḥ saṃsiddhiṃ paramāṃ gatāḥ || 15 ||
Translation
Having attained Me, great ones are never again subject to rebirth in this world which is transient and the abode of sorrow — they having reached highest perfection.
Purport
In earlier Shlokas, Bhagvan Shri Krishna explained how one who is constantly devoted to Bhagvan Shri Krishna reaches the highest abode of existence that is that the abode of Bhagvan Shri Krishna.
Shri Krishna declares such people as a great soul. Once a devotee attains the supreme abode of Shri Krishna he is then free from the bounds of rebirths. He never returns back to this world which is temporary and full of sorrow. Such a great soul becomes immortal and resides in the abode of supreme bliss forever
