Purport

This Shloka clarifies the essence of earlier Shlokas 23-26. The word “sṛtī” means different paths and not time. The time periods classified into two groups in earlier Shlokas actually indicate the classification of two different paths.
The wordings in this Shloka is very clearly pointing towards the secret and giving extra emphasis. One who knows the secret of these two paths is not deluded either during life or at the time of death. Bhagvan Shri Krishna hence instructs that a human should be also engaged in Yoga, that is an action that is directed towards supreme personality Shri Krishna. Such a person never falls into confusion, always exists in the state of clarity and finally achieves the Moksha.
