Purport

While asking 7 questions, Arjuna in last also requested Bhagvan Shri Krishna to explain, how a person can know Shri Krishna in the last moment of life? Bhagvan Shri Krishna given an answer to that question in Shloka# 7 of this chapter, but before he says, that human is given last chance to achieve Moksha. A human is able to contemplate (meditate) upon Bhagavan Shri Krishna even in his last moment of life, he is able to achieve the supreme state of Moksha. Though this is another matter, that a human who is not devoted to Shri Krishna during his life finds it very difficult to have true devotion at the end, which is what described in Sh#7, but a human has one last opportunity even in last moment. This is the solemn promise of Shri Krishna, supreme.
