Transliteration
mayādhyakṣeṇa prakṛtiḥ sūyate sacarācaram |
hetunānena kaunteya jagad viparivartate || 10 ||
Translation
Under My supervision, material nature( Prakrti) produces all moving and non-moving beings. Indeed,because of this, O Kaunteya, does the world revolve.
Purport
In earlier Shlokas, Bhagvan Shri Krishna explains two facts 1. The whole universe and living beings are created by his own potency and self (Sh#4,5) 2. The whole cosmic order is under Shri Krishna.
Now the question remains how does Lord Krishna propagates and maintains the cosmic order of the Universe? Is Shri Krishna manually doing everything? Is Shri Krishna causing the object to fall towards the earth, des He put clouds and causing rains, etc? No. All such natural process is caused by the physical, chemical and biological laws.
Then how to say the cosmic order under Shri Krishna?
This Shloka gives an answer of the same. Bhagvan Shri Krishna explains in this Shloka that all the natural laws have been put on place by Shri Krishna himself. Everything in this universe works and propagates under those laws.
