There was never a time when I, you and any of these people does not exist, nor in the future shall any of us cease to be.

As our body continuously passes from childhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body after death. Wise men do not get bemused by such a change.

The contact of senses with their objects, give rise to feelings of cold and heat, pleasure and pain. They come and go and are temporary.

Unreal does not come into subsistence and real never ceases to exist.

A person who has given up all desires for sense gratification, who lives free from desires, who has given up all sense of proprietorship and is devoid of false ego, he alone can attain real peace.

Not by merely abstaining from work can one achieve freedom from reaction, nor by renunciation alone can one attain perfection.

Verily none can ever remain even for a moment without performing an action; for everyone is made to act by the qualities born of nature, in spite of himself.

All actions are made to happen due to the modes of nature. But one under the sense of ego says "I am the doer". A wise person knows these [acts] as an interplay of modes, does not get attached to them.

Whenever there is a decline of Dharma(perennial principles) or righteousness and surge in Adharma (unrighteousness), at that time, I incarnate.

Know me as the original seed of all beings. I am the intelligence in the intelligent and the dignity of the dignified

Better indeed is the wisdom than the rituals, however, meditation is better than wisdom and better than wisdom is doing actions renouncing the desires of fruits.
